Our Beginnings
The ATL Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in 1994 by a group of friends who wished to support a member of their informal bicycling group who was diagnosed with lung cancer. The name All Terrain Lesbians Foundation, is fitting since any of us can find ourselves on uneven ground with difficult life challenges.
Our MissionThe ATL Foundation provides assistance to self-identified lesbians, living in Colorado, in need of financial assistance as a result of ill health.

Our OrganizationThe ATL Foundation board consists of volunteers who are responsible for reviewing requests for assistance, organizing various fund raising activities and managing the funds raised.
